In his first term, Trump attempted to prevent travel from “shithole” countries. Thanks in part to SCOTUS telling Trump he could do anything as president so long as he was doing so in his purview as POTUS. (btw, nice job, assholes).
Unless (and until?) the courts successfully enforce due process rights in the very least, illegal mass arrests and deportation of racial (non-white) and religious (Muslim) “undesirables” will continue, much to the delight of the MAGA cultists who couldn’t give a rat’s ass whether the deportee is a dangerous criminal or not.
So the complicit Republican Politicians, are they just all in for Dump, does he have something on them, how much money have they gotten from Musk? Or is it just fear of retaliation from some cult member hellbent on taking out anyone who stands in Dump's way?

We need to pressure the Republicans to remember where they came from. They are betraying everything they've claimed to care about in regard to American values. I used to think George W. was trashing the Constitution but Trump 2.0 makes W look like amateur hour. And the Republicans are mainlining Trump's Kool-Aid right into their veins. And yet, they are our only hope for impeaching Trump.
We need a mass intervention for the Republicans.
What's worse is that even if they do come to their senses and impeach old Orangeface, then they'll need to impeach VP Couchfvcker and then Speaker "I'm Not Touching My" Johnson before a vague sense of sanity can return to the USG. Let's face it, the USG before Trump 2.0 needed a LOT of work, soooo....
I feel a tremendous urge to give up hope since the odds of Threempeachment are pretty high, against. But as much as I've always been an honest critic of this country for my entire life, I can't stop thinking that the American Ideal is still absolutely within our reach so long as the right people, with the right legal powers, still want to reach for it.
And I think everyone knows, this is just the start. American citizens will be rounded up soon and sent to "detention" camps either in the US or outside of it. The only way to prevent this abomination from continuing is mass protests on the order of the Arab Spring referenced by another poster. Together we are strong. Individually we will be picked apart.
