An Innocent Man
Why are they going after President Trump, who already told us he did nothing wrong?
How’s everybody doing? You guys feeling ok after the latest Trump indictment? I know, it doesn’t seem fair that a man can be indicted for the exact same crime lots of other people have been indicted for, so I can certainly understand anybody who might be feeling upset. Personally, I’m dealing with this latest outrage by taking A LOT of deep, cleansing breaths.
I just don’t understand why the Department of Justice is going after a patriot like Trump when he has repeatedly told us that he did nothing wrong. And it’s not like Trump only proclaimed his innocence once - he says it almost every day.
He told us he did nothing wrong when he got impeached for a perfect phone call with Zelenskyy, he got impeached again for his perfect handling of January 6th, and now they’re indicting him for the alleged “crime” of stealing “classified” documents, lying about it, and then obstructing justice. All of that sounds pretty damning until you consider the fact that he said he’s innocent. As far as I’m concerned, that’s case closed.
Consider this: would the majority of Americans really have elected a crook to be President of the United States? NO WAY! I’m setting aside the fact that he didn’t win the majority of the votes, but he would have if all the millions of illegal votes had been tossed out. How do I know there were millions of illegal votes? Because he told us. Why would he lie about something like that? To make himself feel better? Guys like Trump don’t need to make themselves feel better - they’re already VERY VERY HAPPY!!!
It makes no sense.
Just like it makes no sense for him to run a fake university. If it was so fake, why did so many people spend thousands of dollars on it? Are we really meant to believe that people are stupid enough to fall for a ridiculous scam in which Donald Trump teaches you the secrets to his real estate success? Of course not. He doesn’t HAVE much real estate success. The whole case was a lie. The fact that he paid a twenty-five-million-dollar settlement to make the case go away only PROVES his innocence. I’m not sure how, but it does.
Same with the phony Trump charity lawsuit, in which he admitted to using his charity to prop up his businesses and pay for his presidential campaign. Are we really supposed to believe that a man like Donald Trump would steal from a charity to enrich himself? Of course not! Which is why he paid a two-million-dollar settlement. Again, I’m not sure how settling proves his innocence, but it definitely does. He said so.
Which brings me to the five-million-dollar judgement he was just ordered to pay after being found liable for sexually assaulting E. Jean Carroll in a department store dressing room. That one might be the biggest outrage of them all. He didn’t do it! He said so! He said he’s never even met her before! Yes, there’s a photograph of them laughing together. But he meets A LOT of people. If he really sexually assaulted women, wouldn’t at least ONE other woman have come forward to accuse him of forcibly kissing, grabbing, and fondling her? Wouldn’t TWENTY-SIX of them have come forward? Wouldn’t there be some kind of evidence of him saying he sexually assaults women because he’s a celebrity? You bet there would be.
Why are they doing this to a man who weighs 239 pounds?
My theory is that they’re going after him because he’s TOO innocent. His overabundance of innocence makes the rest of them look bad. Think about it: there’s plenty of criminals out there who never get arrested. People like Hillary Clinton. Why isn’t she in jail? You could make the argument that the reason she’s not in jail is because she hasn’t done anything wrong but if that’s true, why isn’t she on social media everyday writing, in CAPITAL LETTERS, that she’s innocent? Does her lack of proclaiming her innocence every day sound like the actions of an innocent person?
NO IT DOES NOT!
People have to make a choice. When it comes to Trump, who are you going to believe: the prosecutors, the grand juries, the extensive history of lawsuits, the settlements, the witnesses, the evidence, and the lifelong pattern of criminality… or a former President of the United States who has told us, time and again, that he has never done anything wrong? Personally, I know exactly who I believe.
Great. Now I have to clean all the sarcasm off of my monitor since this was dripping with it.
I wanted to write something very erudite and smarmy, but as I sit here, all I can think of is.... LOL, you're funny Michael. Sorry. I did my best.
