I live in a blue dot surrounded by redhats. If you wander into a diner or hardware store you will encounter the willfully gullible Trump voters. None of them had a decent education. All of them are one negative event away from homelessness. All of them are resentful and racist. All of them know they are dinosaurs: extinct but still alive. They are economically superfluous and unnecessary. They know it and they need a place to put their fear and hatred. The Glenn Beck/Rush Limbaugh radio shows channels their fear. It is exhausting to deal with the level of stupidity.
"To say these are not serious people is an insult to those of us for whom unseriousness is an occupation." It's also an insult to those of us are mere hobbyists.
The last paragraph was poetry tying in all the themes into one tasty sandwich. Not sure of you were proud of yourself after typing it out, but you should be.
You forgot to mention the Sharia law danger we face daily here in the USA. It is trumped, I mean trumpeted about near daily in the Texas news and from our pols...

To turn those ICE concentration camps into MAGA re-education camps. Make them attend lectures on American history, force them to endure a life without hairspray, and maybe even teach them to read. With luck, perhaps some of them can one day be re-integrated into society. As for the rest, I hear there’s a lovely prison in El Salvador designed to house the worst of the worst. And I know just the airplane to fly them there.
Still think he awarded a no bid contract to cronies with no experience in refitting planes and as a result the plane experienced serious problems on the way to Ankara. Just my guess!
This is what I was wondering. Since the whole regime is known for such fucktacular incompetence, what if… They just let him fly it whenever he wants to, wherever he wants to? This is a crazy world right now, with all the missiles and drones and whatnot just wreaking havoc everywhere. If he’s so desperate to play with his new toy, would it be so bad if they thought his plane was appropriately secure, and we found out later that it just wasn’t? I mean. We all know what tantrums he throws!
It seems like we use this logic everywhere else within the administration; why not here?
