Here's another anecdotal data point to add to your collection: I've seen well over two hundred yard signs promoting the Harris/Walz ticket. Meanwhile Trump/Vance is tied with RFK jr and Jill Stein; each with one sign a piece.
Richard, I’m guessing you’re not in the Central Valley of CA or in Orange County where it’s very red, but we’re heavily canvassing and phonebanking there.
Michael, kudos to you and your son for canvassing! It is the most effective way to GOTV.
The next most effective method is phonebanking, for those of us not near a battleground state. We provide training, you join on your computer or laptop. Sign up at mobilize.us.com, then click on GOTV and you’ll see many choices for calling every day between now and Nov. 5th. I’m a coach with the Bay Area Coalition, so if you join our group, send me a message via chat when you’re on. I’ll be there Wednesdays 5-7 PM PST and multiple times the 4 days before Nov. 5th. Hope to see some of you there! Or wherever you land….there are many organizations to choose from. You will make a difference!
As a Georgian reading this while in Switzerland, once home I plan to early vote Friday. I dare hope that Georgia will be Blue, but Purple with Harris winning sounds great.
I have been in Europe for almost two weeks. In every country those I have visited with or met have anxiety over this election. Ex-pats, citizens of both the UK and of the continent detest Trump. All want the U.S. to make the correct choice for us and them. They understand the gravity of this election.
I did some phone banking yesterday with mobilize - Turn PA Blue - and though it was completely outside my wheelhouse and I was anxious about calling people who didn’t ask to be called, it went really well. There was a lot of enthusiasm, most people had already voted or had a plan to drop off their ballot, or were going to vote in person. Some people hadn’t received their ballots yet and I was able to help. Overall it made me feel hopeful, and was better than an hour spent worrying about the fate of the world. It’s great you’re taking your son and I hope it goes well and that it isn’t too blustery out there!

Downside: I live in a deep blue West Coast state.

Blustery is good. UFOs are a better subject than that guy. :)
Please let it be UFOs.
