Thank you for "blatshit" and "Mar-a-Lame-O". Not sure if I messed up my algorithm or what, but I'm seeing much more blatant, poorly written propaganda on Google and Apple News lately. Stories like "Next Year Will Be the Best America's Had in a Long Time" (unironic, Newsweek) and "Trump’s Education Department pick means a bright future for our children". Everything feels dark and cold.
I'm not expecting everything to be perfect, but getting away from a lot of the bad/absent ideas from the other side is optimistic in my book. Hopefully it's just regular and a little better, not expecting dreamlike changes.
You will have to stay around to see the joy in everyone realizing that tRump is only in it for himself or the end of our country that our parents and spouses and children have fought for. We all have to do this together and you should be there working, talking, yelling for what is right and what is wrong. We need every single one of us to do our little part. I'm an old lady and have to leave this world better than where we are going now on Jan 20th. Buck up buttercup.
I have talked myself comatose. I have listened. I have worked hard to spread my feelings regarding achieving true Democracy.
I live in a very Red part of Jersey and people are just incapable or unwilling to have a civil conversation or even listen.
People who cave into allowing all their decisions to be made by others; billionaires, disseminators of paranoia and/or invisible/imaginary phantoms, will not be swayed by any rational argument.
That is part of the problem as well, an argument is taken as a personal affront and discussions of topics that don’t align with whatever rut they have dug for themselves, just fall on deaf ears and slam into blind eyes and carom off a mind that is at 0 K. And that is not OK.
I don't think anybody who supports Trump now (or very few) will ever admit the truth about him and the movement to which they committed themselves. In 40 years, future Anne Coulters will write future encomia praising the disgraced leader and reinvigorating America First.
Remember when we elected Obama not just once but twice? Seems like a fever dream now.
