As I’ve been brushing up on my French on Duolingo for the last trois ans in preparation of a potential move there, it’s been so fun to read about your travels and be able to understand the the French phrases dropped. Merci.

You met Roberto and Carolyn because "el mundo es un pañuelo" as you may remember from your mastery of Spanish. The world is a handkerchief. It fits in your pocket or the palm of your hand.

That is not weird. That's why I prefer English gardens which are tended to the max, but don't appear to be.
