Rest assured that many of us in Texas do not share the majority of the electorates opinion of Greg Abbott, Dan Patrick, Ken Paxton and their merry band of freedom removers. This interjection of the true mind of our Governor, like this statement, need to be publicized far and wide, should he get the silly idea to run for higher office.

"Even to remote locations with a plan to ingest heavy narcotics and hallucinogens." Nothing could possibly go wrong when combining these substances with a nearby gun.

Also, as to your point about the effects of .223 bullets - not long after starting my current job, I attended a trauma conference. One of the trauma docs that treated victims from the Pulse shooting spoke about just that, with the high-res pictures you mentioned. I had never thought about it before, but the additional mass of rifle rounds coupled with the higher muzzle velocity - makes sense that they would cause more damage owing to more force and a stronger shock wave.

I agree that more people should know about that.
