“Instead of ‘fixing’ politics by ‘going back to the good old days,’ let’s step into the chaos and move the country forward.” - Governor Kristi Noem, No Going Back
The fact that she wants to be the orange one's VP should tell you everything you want to know. Plenty of people treat animals with casual cruelty, the shelters are full of dogs thrown on the side of the road or left in abandoned houses. She just tried to justify it by patting herself on the back for taking responsibility for the killing, like that made it better. Dog was just a tool, tool broken, throw it away "responsibly" (in her twisted mind, anyway). Imagine it for a moment: she took a happy, excited dog down to the gravel pit, looked Cricket in the eye, said "sit" and shot her dead. Who the F can do something like that?
I'll quote my late father here, himself quoting Sam Houston: He [Trumpo] has all the attributes of a dog but loyalty. EDIT: I think the actual quote said “except Loyalty”.
I would be remiss, with all due respect to our host, if I did not comment on the alleged flatulence event(s) at a criminal trial last week: Oder in the Court.
I was frankly surprised that any Republicans took public issue with her admission to shooting her dog. I was also surprised that she thought it was a good idea to put the incident down in print. I think you are right that she was writing for an audience of one. I don't know or care who Trump is going to pick for his VP, because he could choose me and I still wouldn't support the ticket.
The most frightening part of this for me is her being vice president to a man who, uh, isn’t in the best of shape let’s say. She knows his days are numbered and she’s just waiting.
I’ve read a few stories over the years with variations of the headline “Dog shoots owner”. I believe we are overdue for another. 🤷🏻♀️
Beautifully written.
Dogs and babies—he’s got some serious hangups

I guess she can. I pity her soul. EDIT: I'm assuming she has a soul. I often make faulty assumptions.
I’m thinking she doesn’t.
I haven't forgotten about the innocent goat, even if no one else cares. 🐐🐕

A house of cards...
Nothing like having a job with a highly likely built in promotion.
That is a really good point, Lisa. I didn't even think about it that way.
