You'd be a perfect addition to any of the comedy panel shows that the UK does so well and we can't seem to get right on the states.

You are now in the land of my favorite Youtubers, Dan and Phil. If you run into them, kindly demand that they make a video with you. They are British so they will have to do it because British people are nice. Thank you in advance for the amazing content I will receive.

On a more serious note, I became a founding member of your Substack. I’ve always enjoyed your writing, and ever since I won the autographed copy of My Custom Van from your publisher’s contest, I’ve sought out your writing anywhere I can find it.

I hope you and Martha have a lovely time in London town and that you don’t touch anything that makes you itchy.

Cheerio!

Give “Toast of London” a watch after your coffee at Toast (if you haven’t already seen it). See you soon, pal.

What's that? Does it involve toast?

So if I subscribe, does the money go to you? I made a donation? to follow a friend’s account but ended up with an inbox filled with articles?, blogs?, paragraphs? Which I have no interest in reading. Whatsoever. So it was delete, delete, delete. My friend is also campaigning to bring back the Oxford comma (that last comma before the “and”) which supposedly was deleted to save newspapers thousands of dollars. That is why my writing is overloaded with commas. (This is similar to the campaigns to reinstate poor Pluto as a planet.)

However, said donation landed you in my inbox which has turned out to be a delightful surprise.

Have you considered establishing a GoFundMe account? The rest of the world has, and I am in total disbelief by the donations they receive.

Please feel free to delete this. My husband says I am entirely too chatty in the morning. He always gets to work an hour early. Coincidence? I think not.

Yes, money goes to me, although some portion of it goes to Substack. I have not considered setting up a Go Fund Me page; I think this is probably the closest I will ever get to that. Maybe I'll try OnlyFans next.

Chelsea Physic Garden is a great day out. Mix walking with greenery with learning! How can you go wrong with the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries on your side?

Hm... I do like apothecaries.

You’ll have to take her to butechart gardens in Canada. Absolutely gorgeous. You can sit in the car in the parking lot.

Book a walking tour of the street art of Shoreditch. Great sociological lesson that’s groovy.
