In the spirit of not knowing how to feel about the middle east at this time, may I recommend the "Chutzpod!" podcast, hosted by Rabbi Shira Stutman partnered with a Jewish person originally Josh Molina and now Hanna Rosin, both of whom were/are excellent.
In case you haven’t heard about this yet, Paul Giamatti is very into high strangeness as well, and has a podcast called Chinwag where he, his cohost, and a guest get into it. God, that was a long sentence.
When it comes to podcasts, Ive found that no one (including me) wants to hear anyone's recommendations, but it's fun to see what people are listening to, in the same way it's fun to size up someones bookshelf without reading the books. Im delighted by your interest in ufos and aliens (something I claim to be interested in but never actually research).
I love Behind the Bastards and Stuff They Don't Want You to Know. Not esoteric but first exposes the jerks of the world and just how awful they are and the latter discusses subjects government and business prefer we not know. I enjoy Liminal Phrames, as well. That's an excellent podcast.

Have you read Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian Weiss, MD? Really outstanding.
But of course.
It was a dumb question
It was not!
