A few weeks ago, I wrote a post about how anchovies are the best pizza topping. After writing that blog post, I thought to myself: Michael, if you enjoy anchovies so much, why are you limiting your anchovy consumption to pizza?
Friends, that was an important question. Anchovies are the easiest way to add salty delight to any dish that needs some salty delight. (Adding salt also adds saltiness, of course, but does not add “delight.”) I now put anchovies on salads and melt them into sauces for pasta. For the Caesar salad, they are de rigueur. But for an easy snack/lunch/dinnertime accompaniment/post-dinner snack, I have invented the easiest and BEST of anchovy recipes, which I will now share with you in the hopes that this thing takes off like gangbusters and we’ll become millionaires!!!*
