From a British POV the idea of having a system which involves running a government which lurches from one funding crisis to another is inexplicable. Why on earth can’t Congress sort this out? (Don’t worry, it’s a rhetorical question).
I’m not going to agree with that as it’s not the fault of folks like you. I’m not sure whose fault it is but I’m willing to bet that the vast majority of Americans would prefer a more rational system.

I wanted to run away to the UK when I was 16 to start a band…I’m regretting that… thanks for keeping us in mind…I’ve seen some British flags go up when he won satirically referring to his “kingship” now being complete, as he’s brought us all the way back. It’s going to take more than dumping tea in the harbor this time.
It’s a matter of “there for the grace of god” - in July we finally rid ourselves of the RW lot who had been in charge for over a decade and though there are teething problems with the new government it has so many problems to cope with that that is a relief to have sensible people in charge for a change.
It is truly infuriating. This country needs to overturn Citizens (corporations are NOT people, money does NOT equal speech), and reinstate the Fairness Doctrine (Faux News is NOT news, as shown by the 3/4 BILLION judgment in the Dominion Voting Machine case.) Please keep good thoughts for your friends across the pond. ❤️
